"I was made for you," Francis answers as they tangle together, bodies finding a rhythm.

Sleep well, beautiful. It's nearly dawn. Sleep through the day. Francis stays close by, knowing this it's week is vital to bond. He reads and works in bed, only getting up if he really needs to.

There when Ethan wakes up.

He'll wake up warm and cozy, buried in all those sheets and blankets, though he'll jolt initially when he realizes he isn't home. The fuck--

Slowly, carefully, he'll peek out from under his nest, eyes falling to rest on his new husband.

"Um. Good morning." He thinks. The fuck time is it, anywhere.

Francis looks up from his book and smiles. He holds the page with his finger but closes it's leaves and rolls to scoot down and lay at Ethan's eyelevel. The bed's curtains are still closed. It's like a little cave.

"Good morning." Warm.

Almost evening but nevermind it.

"What time is it." How long did he sleep, Jesus.

Francis checks his pocket watch and closes it again with a crisp, pleasing snap.

"Half past four."

He really zonked you last night.

Is he sorry? Not in the slightest.

"What are your usual hours?"

You really did. Jesus. He probably slept like 12 hours.

"I'm usually asleep during the day, work at night. I was kind of afraid I'd be thrown off since we got married in the evening but it looks like I slept the whole day away anyway."

[antiquarius]

"Old habits," he chuckles.

Francis figured Ethan was some degree of nocturnal, as these things go.

"Sunset is at 6:13. Not much longer, now. Breakfast?"

He is by necessity, yep. He doesn't trust anyone else to run the place like he does, so..

"Sure."

He'll nod and get up, slipping out of bed and through the curtains to fetch Ethan something nice and fresh. Delivered at noon, harvested this morning.

"Do you work tonight?" Asking as he comes back. The curtains in his room are all drawn but he's drawn the bed as an extra layer to make Ethan feel safe.

"I probably should. My GM will be there and she runs a tight ship, but I wasn't there last night.."

And he frets.

"No honeymoon in the cards then," slipping back into their nest with a nice crystal tumbler for Ethan and a cup of tea for himself.
